For Today
Looking out my window... a typical gray day to start January
I am thinking... about my grocery list and planning meals
I am thankful... that the pantry is tipping over full
One of my favorite things... hearing of another grandchild being added to the family
I am wearing... black jogging sweats, extra long gray tee, gray sweatshirt and black socks
I am creating... a piece of something pretty nearly everyday in my studio...being able to hand or machine stitch, cut, press, or bind something is food for my soul
I am watching... for the new fabric collections that are set to come out this year and with full excitement
I am reading... the first study of the year, Search the Word from The Daily Grace Co. Just a good, basic refresher course for me to jump start the new year
The 28-day Prayer Journal by Chrystal Evens Hurst is in line afterwards and then Elijah by Priscilla Shirer wraps up in March
I am listening to... this and her voice sounds just as good as always
I am hoping... to be able to get my hands on my seed packs in a few weeks Ha!
In the garden... nothing happening as it slumbers, but it is happening in my mind and in my garden planner
I am learning... practice makes perfect and the perfect is your version of perfect
In the kitchen... a cup of hot tea or coffee every day
In the homeschool room... getting back to the morning routine after a week of vacation

Peggy, I have loved reading your daybook entries for a couple of years even though I can't join the meme as I gave up my blog several years ago. I wish there was a way we could continue this over to the LOS FB group. Your kitchen view is lovely, I love the fact that your mixing bowls are easily at hand.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Peggy! Your kitchen looks like it's ready for all the yummy things you will be preparing in it this year :-)
ReplyDeleteHi, Peggy, I haven't been in for a long time. I plan to be back. I always enjoy your posts and hope to do more of my own.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this website.
Happy New Year! Seeing greatness in small things is at least one pleasure that has not been snatched away from us. Wishing much of that.
ReplyDeleteHello! Hope your February is going ok. It's been years since I've used this lovely prompt. Time to remedy that. <3
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is very refreshing, like a breath of fresh, creative, air.
