The Simple Woman's Daybook {November Edition}

For Today

Looking out my window... skylight window that is

I am thinking... how nice it is to have early morning light instead of dark

I am thankful... for harvest time and season

One of my favorite things... the little alpaca that rests on my bed thru the day

I am wearing... a few less layers now since the wood stove is now on duty

I am creating... the family Christmas list...adding a few new names this year

I am watching... Hallmark's Cedar Cove series

I am reading... the church bulletin and noticing another ladies rally for November

I am listening to... and loving this  Truth!

I am hoping
... and praying that answers come, but until then...

I am learning... to keep my eyes on Jesus

In the kitchen... Muffins last month...scones this month.

Board Room

Last month, I shared this," Pinterest is no longer something I take part in. I guess I have just lost interest. So next month I will be filling this space with something different and a bit more of value."

So, this month and from now on in this space I will do just that. I am giving it the title, More of Value and under that heading is something I have found to be...

More Of Value

A moment from my day... Thanksgiving early right in my back yard! The best eating is wild turkey. But, not this time...ham it shall remain.

  1. oh Peggy, your November daybook makes me smile, the photos are especially lovely; have seen more wild turkeys this year, and that's "a good thing," although I would never kill or eat one. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving, and thanks for sharing!

  2. I can't get my thumbnail to load... but I just wanted to say hello and that I'm delighted this Daybook community still exists. :) (I have been away from blogging for a long time.) God bless!

  3. Hi Peggy, it's been a long while since I have popped by, as I've been on an extended blog break. Break is over, though, so I wanted to stop by and see what you are up to. I'm glad you are still doing The Simple Woman's Daybook. I will try to take part this month.

Your little alpaca is so cute! My dogs would think it is another chew toy.

I am with you on Pinterest. I lost interest a couple years ago. Or rather, maybe I realized it was a huge distraction, that scrolling through the pins and clicking on them just caused me to be online for hours at a time.

The scones look delish! I will take one with the hazelnut coffee I am drinking right now.

    Blessings on your day,
    Patti @ This Beautiful Life

  4. I love your daybook, your pictures tell as much or more of a story as your words do. I always enjoy coming to your blog. I love the more of value and will add that next time I do the daybook. I am going to go check out what you posted there later after the grandkids are done with school and go home. God bless, my friend!
