welcome to the simple woman's daybook...where every day is a blank page

The Simple Woman's Daybook {April Edition}

For Today

Looking out my window... a beauty of a day.

I am thinking... about what everyone says about being our "authentic" selves...well, the daybook is a tiny bit of that for me. No window dressing.

I am thankful... for all of the changes that have happened in the past month and while I am not sure about the rest of the year...there is promise.

One of my favorite things... slow week-ends.

I am wearing... new colorful yoga pants and tunic by SimplyVera, the tunic is the softest of cotton...an outfit I just love.

I am creating... that little piece of handiwork that always soothes me.

I am watching waiting... for this.

I am reading... Stretching Lessons (The Daring That Starts from Within)
by Sue Bender

I am listening to... this and this.

I am hoping... for a fun ladies retreat and it being held during my birthday week makes it even better.

I am learning... the lackluster of social media and the gains being without.

In the kitchen... that hot cup of Green Mountain's Wild Mountain Blueberry coffee along with buttered grainy toast with a bit of jalapeno/strawberry jam

  1. Thank you for such a warm and welcoming site! I read your link-ups years ago, but never shared a post here till today. (And then somehow I got it mixed up and entered twice! I'm so sorry about that!) I love your stitch work. Since I am unable to do handiwork like I used to (because of chronic illness) I really enjoy seeing the beautiful creations that others make. Blessings to you!

    1. Hello Bettie!! Thank you and welcome! I deleted the extra link so no worry. Sorry to hear about your chronic illness :-( We all have our hurts in life, they just take different forms. I pray that you can find other things that you enjoy.

    1. Faith, you are welcome to add a daybook for April anytime during the month. Just because I post it around that first Monday does not mean you are held to that. Please join anytime during the month. Some ladies do it once like myself, while others do it every week. It is up to you. Coffee lovers thinking a like... :-)
